Thanks, Odum!

I guess you are right. I don't belong on your blog. Call me an independent, call me a libertarian, call me whatever. But I know I don't share your world view, namely, that your political views give you the moral high ground on every issue, and that anyone who questions you is a "troll" or a "contrarian" whose arguments lack reason because they undercut the logic of yours.

I guess Snarky Boy was right; you don't take criticism well, even if it's not personal. That's cool. I like having my views challenged; it raises my game. I grooved on going back and forth with you and some of the others on your site, and conceded when you won.

But accusing me of making "oblique threats to your livelihood?" From somebody who just threw out the word paranoid? That's kind of funny. All I did was point out the hypocrisy of your and worriedinvt's arguments, namely, that when your side protests it's "grass roots action," but when others do it, it's "coercion" and "harassment;" that when Wal Mart spends money on the public process in Vermont they're a "distant business giant," but when VNRC does it, they're somehow a local, grassroots group, etc.

I doubt if I'll spend too much time on this blog (I can barely find time to read Green Mountain Daily), but at least now I've got one. And I certainly won't ban people for disagreeing with me or calling me out as a hypocrite.
